My 5325 has quit showing any reading on the temp gauge. The needle swings on startup but returns and stays at "cold". How do I get the connecter off of the sensor inthe engine block so I can test for ground in the block and voltage coming out og the gauge ?

The connector has a lock on the outside of it. You lift the lock just enough to allow the connector to be unplugged from the sensor.
