Gave the Branson a real workout today!

Hooked the 12 foot Amco disc to my 5220r this afternoon to cut up my garden as a small field for soybeans. Pulled it in 7th gear most of the time, switching to 8th gear to smooth it on the last pass. Tractor pulled it really well.

I haven't got a bit of land flat enough, or ledge free enough, to even set that disc down, much less pull it around. ;-))

Looking good man! I was just looking at some cab'd Bransons the other day while waiting on a forklift rental. Very nice tractors!

2 or 4WD? I continue to be amazed at how much those little tires pull. Nice field.

When I first dropped the disc I. The garden spot, it was in 2wd......didn't make it very far!

Those pics should answer most of the questions about using a disc . Go deep the first pass and let it dry a bit . Let her dry a few hours , with a beverage and go fast and shallow to feather it out . Nice pics , nice work !
