Gauges (Help!!)

My dealer and I have so-far not found a source for hydraulic-fluid pressure and temperature gauges. /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

I'm looking specifically for "electrical", as opposed to "mecahanical" gauges. In other words the "sensor" is plumbed into the hydraulic line, but the gauge itself is connected by electrical wiring, and may be mounted anywhere. I'd like 0-200(or250) degrees/0-3000psi gauges.

Can anybody help?

Larry, did you try Grainger supply or McMaster Carr? Either one should have something you can use /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Thanks Rob,

I visited both sites, along with some others from a web search, but can find only mechanical (pressure)gauges. There are some "electrical" temp gauges, of course.

Maybe the critter I'm looking for doesn't exist! /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

Larry, I'm sure there is such a guage but I'll admit the sources I looked at were all mechanical above a few hundred PSI. I would check http://www.bbinstruments.com/ website. You'll probably have to call them, explain what you are looking for and get their advice. Good Luck!

We use a lot of pressure transducers/signal conditioning/data aquisition hardware here at work, but it's all instrument grade ($$$) stuff. For that kind of stuff try Omega or Fisher Scientific. Who knows, maybe they have an "economy" line /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
