Oil & Fuel Gauge replacement question

I need to replace the gauges in my MF35. Is there an easy way to get up in there with out pulling the entire shroud? Or do I need to pull the steering wheel and take the shroud off?

Hey, did you ever figure this out? I need to do the same on my gauges. My hour gauge doesn't work and I can't tell if it's just disconnected or broke.
