Gator hpx tail gate rattle

Anyone else on here have this. I checkes with the dealer and they did not know of a fix. Emailed Deere and have not heard back.
It is coming from the hinge on the tailgate. One side is tight, the other side has about 1/16 inch of play and at part throttle rattles pretty good. I had hoped deere would fix it, but I may have to myself. JC

On the hinge end there is a short piece of the hinge rod that sticks out maybe a half inch or so. This should have a piece of rubber around it. On mine it would rattle if that rubber was missing.

Mine did when I first got it before the dealer had installed any accessories but after the bed liner was added it stopped.

go to the hardware store buy a piece of rubber and glue it to the tail gate that way when you close it the rubber gets sqeazed in between the bed and the tail gate . problem saolved for under 3 bucks.
