Gator Battery won\'t hold up for Operators.

OK its a Peg Perego Gator, and the Operators are 4 and 6...

I want to add a LawnGarden Battery in parallel to the stock battery, to give longer run time.

Will there be a problem using an automatic 6/2 amp charger to charge both batteries at once? I was going to set it up with a quick disconnect so they can easily hook, unhook it....

I guess I could go to Two LG's and find another home for the stock one...

Time to trade in for the Gator CX so you don't have to worry about charging the battery. With all they use your kids would give it, it's sure to stay charged.

Just a quick FYI........I was going to do the same thing a few years back with my kids power wheels ford ranger.........My battery guy talked me out of the L & G batt due to the possibility of spillage or acid corrosion getting in contact with tender young skin. ( Kids WILL be kids ya know !! )He got me a couple sealed units that were meant for the emergency lights you see at the exits of factories, public buildings etc. I can't remember the #'s but a larger battery supplier should be able to get them for you.........I think I paid about $22 for the pair...........Tom
