I bought a new 27hp commercial motor last year for a trail mower, for $1500.

If they have a bunch of 2 stroke small engines, weed eaters, chainsaws, edgers.. with the 2 stroke oil laying around, they may have use IT in the mower..
U could change the oil to the correct viscosity and add some “snake oil”.. & see how it acts..
