hey there,

Anyone know of a good garden trailer? I'm ideally looking for a heavy duty plastic, probably 20 cu. ft capacity to haul up to 800 pounds or so. Will mainly be used to move wood, leaves, sod, soil, and other light duty jobs. I like the Deere trailers, but I have a Kubota and don't want to be towing a green trailer with a bright orange tractor across my lawn and look like a moving gay pride sticker in the process. LOL

Ideally looking for something with large knobby tires and a tilt option too.

I haven't seen much around other than the cheapies at Home Depot.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Polar HD1500. I highly recommend it.

If you're willing to pay for them, you may want to look at trailers designed to pull behind ATVs. They're typically a bit heavier duty at rated for speeds up to 20 or 25MPH.

These folks have a pretty good lineup of trailers and wagons. I have one of their 2,000 lb tandem 7 footers.

Country Lawn & Garden equipment, off-road lawn trailers, carts and wagons.

thanks for the responses. both options look good...only problem is it seems many trailers that are readily available in the US aren't available in Canada, or have limited distribution...

Country Manufacturing.

Do a search on here for "Country Manufacturing" or "CMI". Best bang for the buck. But, it'll be red (I painted mine JD green).

Do the search in the Attachments and Trailers forums for best results.

I got this ATV trailer at Costco in Victoria. I think it is 'rated' for 1500 lbs. I haven't tested it that far, but it has hauled everything I've put in it.

I think it is a Frontier Explorer.
I raised the coupler so the toungue didn't point so high in the sky behind my 4x4 dakota. The best accesory is the trailer dolly that turns this into a 4 wheel articulated dumping wheelbarrow!
