The "piercing" scream from the horn on my wife's vehicle saved me from instantly enlarging the size of my garage door opening. We had the van in the driveway, luggage packed and kids loaded to go on vacation. As "my" side of the garage holds the mowers, bicycles, toys, etc., the Mrs. was kind enough to allow me to park the tractor in "her" side for security reasons while we were gone. In my haste, I forgot all about the ROPS. I was maybe 3 feet away when the horn blasted. With my slow reaction time (plus the time it took my brain to figure out why she was communicating in such a rude fashion), I was inches away from garage demolition. She saved me from a most embarasing (and likely expensive) moment.
