Hi All,
I just purchased a second hand Kubota G5200 HST. I just gave it a really good clean, so I could see all the parts and check for problems.

When I went to move it by pushing it with the engine off, I noticed a clicking sound that appeared to be coming from the transmission. Is this normal? Is there a lever to disengage the transmission before it is moved manually?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Leon. :D

The G5200 that I had was an early '84 and it made the same noise when moved with the engine off, I assumed it was normal since everything worked. My son still uses it and won't sell it back to me, I'll get it back when he decides to get rid of it, good little machine wish I'd kept it. I never found a way to disengage the transmission.

Thanks Milkman. :D

Has anyone else noticed the clicking sound?

Your NOT supposed to push an HST tractor. Start it up and drive it.

You are moving pump parts dry. You do the math on how good that is.
