FX32D what's it worth?

I found a Yanmar FX32D with a Helpmate FEL, 6' landscape rake, with 1100 hours on it. Looks to me like it's grey market, most writing on it is in Japanese. Guy has no idea what year it is, thinks it's in mid 80's. Unit runs out good FEL looks pretty new and in good shape, bucket looks light and was beat, but been repaired. Anyway he says it 38 hp? Any info would be a help, like HP, what’s a good one worth etc.?

It is a gray market model. Mid to late 80's is a good bet. Don't know anything about the FEL. On Yanmars the first 2 digits in the model number is the PTO HP.

In this neck of the woods a decent, clean, low hr, model with a new Koyker FEL would likely be listed at a graymarket dealer in mid $8's

I like and enjoy my FX24D and don't think the larger 32 model would be any less enjoyable.

The F series are the newer model and not as plentiful as the older models and parts and support a little harder to come by but not to the point of passing this model by.

Hopefully Ernie will see this thread and comment. I know he has had a couple of these larger F's for sale this past yr.

Be sure you can get parts for off brand loader. There are several off brands out there. koyker is probably the most popular loader.

have any pictures of it ? they would say a lot.
The FX32-D is around 32 hp at the PTO (NOT 38)
parts are not a real problem unless you brake the ring & pinion gears.

well I don't know what a 32 is worth, but I did just get a fx28d and love it. it will be a lot more usefull and fun once I figure all the new stuff out.
