Oil & Fuel Fuse keeps blowing on fuel pump curcuit

Fuse keeps blowing on fuel pump curcuit. Has anyone else had this problem with a fuel pump curcuit. I have a YM146 also know as the GT14. Just wondering if this is a common problem before I start to trouble shoot. Never hurts to ask before you jump in.

I wonder if the lack of responses is due to others scratching their head over electric fuel pump? Only thing electric in the fuel circuit on mine is the electric fuel shut-off.

QT, get much of the blow and rain from Thurs afternoon thunderstorm? Lots of smaller branches down here and was without power for abt 17 hrs.

Hi Mickey, we had lots of wind too, but never lost power.
Used the tractor to clean up our lot, leaves & debris everywhere.
Lost 1 part of a big maple tree on the side of the property.
Looks like its chainsaw time for me !

It's a feed pump, never known one to blow fuses.

Dany, how many Yanmar models have an electrical fuel pump? This is a new one for me.

Ernie, family events kept us away from working outside over the weekend but lot of cleanup work needed. We were just thinking we had the yard cleaned up from the winter and this blow put us back to the starting point.
