Is there a fuse box on a 4400? If so, where is it located?

I doubt you will find a fusebox. Most Fords of that series and vintage have only inline fuseholders with the old glass type fuses. One for the light switch, and one for the instrument cluster. Both are a pain to reach and deal with. The cluster fuse is behind the instrument panel, the other is usually near the light switch between the sheet metal and the fuel tank.

i agree. PITA to remove the cluster just to change that fuse back there..
