Hello to all,
I started a thread to ask questions about my brothers M4900 [See thread link below].
Out of this thread, to eliminate water in fuel, checking the fuel filer bowl often was a suggestion. Well, I have good and bad news.
Turned fuel lever to "off" position, then removed fuel filter/bowl, but a pencil lead size stream of fuel continued to come out. I partially moved the lever back to "on" position to see if it would really flow and it did. I had to work fast in getting the fuel bowl assembly emptied and all back together. The good news is I did not detect any water or other in the bottom.
Any ideas on what the issue could be or a fix? I did have a 5 gal bucket underneath to catch fuel...
Thank you,
tstex
