Fuel pump issue. Need HELP

I recently installed a new fuel pump on my little tractor and have an issue. I have primed the unit and have fuel with no air throughout the pump, however when I spin the pump over I cannot get fuel to come out of the injector ports on top of the pump itself. I have insured that the fuel shutoff lever is in the proper position but still get no fuel. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Do you have a wire or two going to the injection pump? if so you probably have a fuel solenoid valve, check for 12 volts with key on. Do you have an electric or manual fuel pump? If electric, remove the discharge from the pump and turn the key on to see how well it pumps, if you can't get it to pump connect the wires to the battery.

It is a manual pump, activated by a gear that connects directly to the engine. There are 2 wires that are and were connected to the previous pump but I think that they are grounds.
