Here in west/central NY, cheapest gasoline is $3.229 a gallon; road diesel is $3.629 a gallon. New Yorkers usually get ripped worse than most for fuel. What prices are you seeing in your area?

In US dollars per US gallon: $3.89 87 octane gas, $3.58 diesel.

In the winter, diesel is about the same as gasoline, or a tiny bit more, but in the summer it remains lower. Interesting, how regional pricing differs. But Canada uses very little home heating oil, so maybe that reduces the winter demand here.
