Recently I noticed a small drip coming from around the lock nut of the fuel head assembly unit on my D2050FD. It gradually got worse until this past weekend it started pouring out around it. I took the nut off of the fuel bowl thinking it may be the O Ring, but to my surprise it was not. I noticed some corrosion around the ring grooves as well as the fuel head assembly threads itself. Does anyone know where I may find this Part # MM404861.
Also, while she is down, I am going to replace the oil and filters. Does anyone know if the this particular tractor has a hydraulic filter and if so, where on the tractor do I check the hydraulic oil and change it? Thanks,

I don't know about the part you need, but you may try looking for the part using the motor number instead of the tractor number. Mitsubishi used their engines in several applications, like marine, etc.

The level plug for your hydraulic fluid should be about level with your left ankle when you're sitting in the seat, just fill until it starts to dribble out. I always put the plug back in and add an extra quart or two, just for good measure.
The hydraulic filter should be located on the lower side of the transmission. Right off hand I can't remember which side of the tractor it is on, but if you're under the tractor looking up, you should see a steel line (about 3/4" diameter) going into the transmission back towards the differential. Your filter is located across from that on the other side.

Hope this helped, if not, get back with us and I'll take some pics of my setup and post them

Late addition, see if this is the part you're looking for: Mitsubishi - Compacts - Parts

Just an update to let you know I checked my tractor and the hydraulic filter is located on the right side, about straight down from the axle locker, 4 bolts holding a square plate

Thanks Gunny! Southern Global Tractor had the part and were great to work with! I am not sure if my compact tractor has hydraulic filter. I will check this weekend now that I know where to look.

Most likely, the filter is a fine mesh tubular screen, attached to that plate mentioned by Gunny.
