As I've mentioned elsewhere here, I had a problem with my fuel gauge when I ran out of fuel while the gauge was telling me I had about 1/8 of a tank still.

The road tech replaced the sensor, but when he tested it the gauge still wouldn't go below that 1/8 mark. He was going to order a new gauge as well, but then today he was telling me that he found out that because of the two tanks that the computer estimates how much fuel is left when it is low and that it might have gotten screwed up by the service guys adding or taking away fuel when they did the 50-hour service (I ran out shortly after I got the Toolcat back from the 50-hour).

He's telling me that I need to fill up the tank and use up the fuel mowing and the gauge should correct itself.

This all sounds kind of screwy to me, and I'm going to call Bobcat directly to ask about it. But I was wondering is anyone has had any experience with this, or has any comments.

Thanks
