I just changed the fuel filters on my 07 powerstroke truck. same interval as always, and the fiter was twice as dirty. I am guessing that with the fuel shortage from hurricane season either I got fuel from the bottom of a tank. or got fuel just after the tanker refilled a empty tank and stirred up all the sedimement. there was alot of sand, some metal flakes and even some water in my filters. So I think Im gonna do a fuel filter change on any equipment that I have refueled lately. If any one starts having hard to start, or other fuel type issues check those filters.
