New fuel containers really stink. Actually it is the nozzle. Any place I can get the old style nozzle???

I bought one of the Honda branded fuel jugs for my chain saw for $20. It's much better than the Home Depot/Lowes offerings in my area.

I fought the can thing till i set up a 30 gallon drum with an electric pump.
Should have done it 4 years ago when i bought the tractor.

Well I went to Walmart the other day looking for a new diesel can and bout crapped when I seen how much they cost.
Then I seen the new positive shut off valve thingy on top and I didn't know what to make of them.
Actually now that I used one I really like them, especially the gas cans... in fact they don't stink because of the valves on them when you put them indoors and you don't have to worry about moisture.

I just bought a couple more from TSC this last Saturday. 7 bucks and change apiece. They have that annoying "I can pee faster than this thing empties" vented spout. First thing I always do is heat a punch with the mapp torch, and poke a hole where the vent should be. Before the plastic cools, I spin a course-thread eyelet screw into the slightly smaller hole. The plastic forms a really tight seal, and the eye gives me something that's easy to grip with a pair of gloves on.
Voila! Vented fuel can.
I like the new one w/ the spring-loaded spout better than the old one w/ the self-venting spout. The new one has a hook that rests on the edge of the fill spout, I just have to balance. With the old style, I had to hold the weight while it slowly emptied.
