Frontier Grooming Mower Price Check

Anyone purchased a Frontier Mower - GM1060R or GM1072R lately? Not sure what retail/fair price would be on either of these models. I currently have a JD 4120 and lI am looking for a mower attachment. Have been priced locally at $2,100 for the 1060R and $2,300 for the 1072R, both without the imatch kit.

Also looks like the dealers are selling the JD 261 or 272 anymore; just curious why the push towards the frontier units at the JD dealers.

My GM1072R was $2175 with iMatch kit in MO last May.

The 261 and 271 are different from, say, the GM1072R because they are suspended at the front by the three-point hitch and at the rear by two wheels, whereas the GM1072R is completely suspended by it's own four wheels.

Why not just buy a Woods direct??

After contacting a couple of other dealers; the price on the 1060R was 1695.00 and 1800.00. That was for the heavy duty version made by Woods. I have not contacted a dealer in my area that sells Woods yet. Would the 1060 model be the same as the Woods PRD series?
