I just purchased a used Frontier (Woods) GM1072R finish mower with pneumatic tires that needs a little work. For one of the wheels I needs all the bushings and the rollerss. I thought it would be trivial to jump on the web, pull up the parts list, and order them - no such luck. I cannot find anything except the belt. Does anyone have a parts diagram for this beast? Mine has about 1.5 inch tube steel that the casters are attached to - I have seen a lot of photos where this is flat steel bar instead of square tubing.

I would like a link to any documentation of this thing - I have nothing.

Also - is there any way to determine the year of this beast. The Complete SN is WDGM1072R526373
Thanks for any help
Tom

Is this mower so rare that no documents exist?

Have you tried JDparts.com, the catalog selection is on the left side.

Since it is a Woods, painted green, Woods name is PRD7200 try the following:

Woods Equipment Company

PRD7200 Mower

At Messicks you should also be able to find a manual. The bolts that hold the wheel square tubing onto the frame, I suggest you use grade 8 bolts and nuts and double nut it, so it stays nice and tight.

If yours looks like the attached picture and you can not find a manual for prd7200. If you send me a private message with an e-mail address I will send you one I found online.

Quick update. I see what you meant by using grade 8 bolts. It seemed no matter how tight I cranked those bolts - they would still slip some. A small slip of that arm near the bolts makes a big difference in the height out at the caster. I ended up taking my mower to a guy down the street and welding the arms on. I lowered the square tubing down flush on the deck (about a 1/2 inch lower) and welded all along the bottom as well as all along the top. This height seems to be better to me than the original - I have about half the spacers below and half the spacers above the arm on the casters.
Thanks
Tom
