Frontier FP1206 - Anybody have one?

I am interested in a Frontier FP1206. Does anybody on here have one?

How much was it?

How has it performed?

What would you change or would you buy it again?

I don't have one but like most of us here I do have most of the tools on it as single pass implements. Depending on the soil I would be doubtfull if you can get a good seedbed in one pass though. I prefer tilling deeper and smoothing the ground more than this seeder will do. For me I would buy a better finishing tool instead of the $7000 phus for this tool.

I agree that a single pass is not going to happen in most cases, but that is OK - can run over it a bunch of times before you turn on the seeder.

I am seeing $4250 for the FP1206.

The cost depends on the level of options, basket roller, rear comb, grating, S tines.
List for the fully loaded FP1206 is about $8,000.

I think if I were you that I would drag your 10 or 14' disk instead and buy a nice finish harrow. I assume you have a seeder already.

I have not been able to find too many details on it.

I have a 12 or 14' disc - I don't remember right now.

I have a martens 24' spike harrow.

I have a 3 point sling spreader.

I do not have a seeder.
