I need to replace my front tires on my Ford 4600. They tires on there now are Goodyear 6 ply 4 rib tires. I have no idea how old they are, and they are hard as a rock. They have no tread left, and the cracks in them are getting disturbing. They are 7.5-16.

I am looking at either the Firestone Champion Guide 4-rib 7.5-16, or go with a Gensco airplane tire, with a tube (not the green filler). Anyone have any experience with each?

The tractor is an all purpose tractor. It does have a front end loader. I use it for brush-hogging, plowing, tilling, disc work, grading, snow removal, bucket work, grappling trees, and lifting heavy items in and out of my truck. As I said, all purpose work. The tractor is used to brushog about 10 acres, maintain roads on a little over 100 acres, and whatever else I need around the house. The acreage is not smooth, and has a lot of small trees that leave little stubs behind...in other words not hay fields.

With the front tires I have now, the only issue I have had is in mud. They will sink right up in wet ground, especially with a load on the front. Otherwise, no issues for what I do.

Price wise, the 2 choices look to be about the same. Any experience or advice?
