Need to replace front tires on my 451. It has 6.00X16s and would like to put 7.50X16 to give more support for the loader. Can I put them on the same rims?

I would not guarantee that you can, but i think you should be able to. Look around on the rims and see if you can find anything stamped on the rim. I replaced 6.00 16 on may 730 jd with 7.50 16 tires and used the same rims. Do you have a good honest tire guy handy, cause he would probably know for sure.

You should be able to. The 16 refers to the rim size, so any reasonably close 16" tire should fit. The 6.00/7.50 refers to the distance from the tire bead, down across the tread, and back up to the other bead. Of course the 7.50 being the larger number, that tire will be bigger.
There are charts indicating which width rims should be used with with each tire size.
