I didn't try mounting both of them (front sub frame mount and grill guard) at the same time because I didn't know how much ground clearance I would loose. When my tractor was shipped the guard was off and I don't think the bolts would be long enough to go through both. So I just removed the mount and installed the guard.
But I don't like removing and installing the bolts twice a year. I put never seize on the bolts but you never know when one will cross thread or just not want to come out and damage the threads. Next year I'll look into having both on. I also think the front looks naked without the guard.
