Front mount blower for B7610

Doozer,

I picked up a linear actuator from e-bay for $75 and plan to install it on the deflector in a few weeks. If you go this route make sure you get an actuator with automatic stop at the top and bottom of the stroke. If not, you can burn out the actuator.

You'll get many different opinions on this. I drive on lawn alot in the summer and have turfs. I run chains on the rears in the winter. The use I have for my tractor in thw winter would require chains no matter which tire I run.

Dooze,

I'll take a picture tonight or tomorrow night and post it if I can figure out how to post it. At first I wasn't going to get the electric operator for the chute and just adjust it manually. I'm glad I changed my mind!

Chains for the front are problematic. The steering knuckle is so close to the front rims that standard chains would rub. You would need to extend the inside links and take up the slack on the outside- with constant tension.
I have chains and extra links for the front, but chose to try a more agressive ag-type tread tire in the front (of the same rolling diameter) and found those tires to be so much better that chains were not needed.

You have all been a lot of help. I would just like to see a picture of a 7610 with a cab on it. Can't seem to find one anywhere.

Do you have pictures of the electric deflector that you can post. I have a hydraulic rotator but might like to have an electric deflector )</font>

Dooze,
I'm having trouble trying to post the pictures. If you PM me with your e-mail address I will send them to you. Sorry about that. And Griffey, I can e-mail a picture of my B7800 with the Curtis cab if you'd like.

My blower is a B2782. According to the Kubota web site the application for the B7610 would be the BX2750 blower. It states the B2781 is compatible for the B7610. There is only 2-1/2" difference in width.
