just bought a used 2003 Kubota bx2200 2 of the hydraulic hoses needed to be changed, had them made up and switched them out, put in new oil everything appears to be fine,, but the bucket will not raise.. anything else I need to do.. the bucket will not raise. is there a need to bleed the line, or pressure? any help would be appreciated thanks:)

What 2 hoses did you replace?. If they both to the same cylinder, you may have them coonect to wrong ends of the cylinder (switched) so 1 cylinder is trying to raise, the other trying to lower thus canceling each other and hydraulics going over relief.

Thanks, they are on correct one is to the power steering and the other to the bucket. could it just be air in the lines?

Do you by any chance have quick disconnects on these hoses? If you do, unhook them and rehook. Make sure plenty of hydraulic fluid. It will push the air out on its own by running loader up and down or tilting bucket.

I highly recommend a hyd gage install in your hyd system. Cost about $30. It will help you to monitor and trouble shoot the hyd system.

When you activate the steering, does it work. That pump fluid is going somewhere, you need to track it down.

When you try and raise the bucket, does the relief go off, or squeal?

Does the Power steering squeal when wheel is turned to the stop?

Did you remove both hoses and get replacements, or get new replacements and then replaced the hose.

The pump flow probably goes to a priority valve, and divides the fluid sends a set amount to the steering, and the rest to the other hydraulics.

How about some pictures.

Which hoses did you replace?

The steering valve may be bypassing fluid to tank.

After the hose and fluid change have you run it enough to fully circulate all the fluid. HST and the Three Point also.

I am thinking you need to check all the hoses for correct placement. Maybe the hoses are deteriorating from use.

Did the hose blow when all the valves were in neutral? What were you doing at that time.

The other hose blew, it was in neutral.. now trying to get the hose off.. we just bought it used hopefully their isn't other problems with it.. thanks..

If the hose blew while in neutral, then you have a hose connected wrong. There is little pressure in neutral. If you dead head the pump by connected a hose wrong, then expect something to blow up, hose, valve, pump, etc. Whatever the weakest part of the system.
