The dentented position on the CK25/30 is only a basic "free fall" position, it really doesn't speed anything up BUT, if you have a heavy load in it it will dump faster in the detented position. I have tested this, the bucket dumps faster the faster you run the engine on either one CK20 or 25/30, the only time it has made any difference in dump speed on the CK25/30 is when the load is heavy enough to "make" the bucket dump faster.
If I remember right a while back there was this basically same discussion on the Kubota board. One of the Kub mechanics went into great detail about how it works. Of course this is all from memory so, I could be wrong. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
