Thank you again, now a couple of basic questions regarding the quick couplers.

The ones I have are in the photos, they say 'Made in Italy' but no manufacturers detail.

Do I need a special tool to undo the clip or whatever holds the inside plunger and spring in - one of the videos I researched after your comments shows a special tool to unscrew the retaining ring inside to release the spring and plunger?

When I fit the hoses back on, is there a sealant or PTF tape I have to use (as in plumbing) as I notice there is what looks like PTF tape on the one attached to the pump in the photo?

Thanks, sorry this might seem like very simple to you guys

Mine had a snap ring inside so I used snap-ring pliers and a scribe. I guess you will have to take one apart to see how yours are retained.

You can use teflon tape or any oil compatible pipe sealant. Just make sure you get all the internals out of all 4 fittings. If you miss one, you will most likely damage the hydraulic pump by blocking the flow if one still has its internals and you try and start the engine...
