I have had my BX2200 for a few years but never had the courage to take the front loader off. In any case, I have been tearing up the lawn in a few spots so I thought I would try mowing without the front loader. Taking it off was much easier than I expected and mowing the grass was great. Putting the loader back on the first time was also easier than I expected.

The problem came the second time I tried to putting the loader back on. I moved the lever the wrong way a couple of times while tring to position the side frames into postion. The result was one of the side frames was out futher than the other. The right cylinder was pushed out further than the left. I got off the tractor and pushed the right frame in which pushed in the right cylinder in and pushed the left cylinder out.

Is this normal or did I break something? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

This is normal.... the hydraulic fluid has to go somewhere, so when you compress one cylinder, the other will go in the opposite direction.

I've done the same thing my self. If you just move forward until the side frames contact the mounting arms they'll even them selves out and you won't have to get off the tractor.

Thanks for the education. You would think after two years, I would have learned everything there is to know about operating the BX2200 but every day I learn something new. Most of this information comes from this web site. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Thanks
