kubota b20
I've got a Kubota b20 that has a small but persistent leak in the front hydraulic pump. I'm guessing the tractors 15 or so years old with between 1000 and 1600 hours on it. I've had it for 2 years and it runs strong. Only thing I've done is replace some hydraulic hoses and change the engine oil. What should I do about the leak? I was just gonna start taking the pump apart to check it out but I've never worked with hydraulics so I figured I should ask you guys about it.

You first have to identify where the leak is comming from. Is it comming from a seal in the pump, hoses foing to the pump, hoses comming out of the pump, one of the fittings??

It could be just as simple as changing a hose.

Pics would be helpful too.

Thanks for the reply. I'll clean it up and run it for awhile to check that and then come back here.
