Front end loader control fluid leak

Learned people I have a hydraulic fluid leak from one of the pipes on the 'joystick' on the Bulldog Loader on my Iseki TX1510 - Please see picture

I haven't tried anything yet but should I try tightening the nut? or is there an O ring or other seal inside that may have failed?

If the leak is where the blue arrow is pointing that is a solder or welded connection so trying to turn that hex will only make it worse.

Thank you for your response; excuse my ignorance but if the hex is not meant to be 'moved' why is it a hex? Oh and what would the solution be to stopping the leak? new hose?

I suspect the hex is there since that part of the hose end is probably common to several other styles on threads or end styles.

To stop the leak you might be able to weld it but you would have to control the heat going into the fitting so that you do not melt the rubber.

Other option is replace the hose.

Probably for fixturing while manufacturing. I'd replace the hose. A 2' custom made hose at Napa was $45 or so last week. I hear some of the fittings are a bit scare at the moment due to manufacturing issues at Gates (plant move, not COVID related).

High pressure fluid injection injuries are no joke presumably that's near your hand. Don't Google them unless you have a strong stomach. Welding dirty or oily metal is a crap shoot at best under normal circumstances. Add in rubber to melt inches away & you have to be way more desperate than me to weld that.

Many thanks hose replacement seems a good option I think there's someone in Aberdeenshire who could make one up for me
