manual says to use NH 134 lubricant. Is there a comparable replacement? regular 90w?

did a search but couldn't come up with anything

I would think any tractor hydraulic fluid that met the NH requirements, but I know that it definitely isn't a 90w oil that goes in there.

Both TSC and wallmart carry a "UTF" type oil that meets NH 134d spec. Napa does as wel.. in fact.. most petroleum dealers make a UTF.. just read the specs.

I run the TSC UTF in my ford NH products.. no issues yet..

If you drive into water when the axle is hot, water will get sucked in past the seals. This happens with 4X4 trucks all the time also. We always waited for our trucks to cool down before crossing our river. You should always check the fluid after driving in water.
