Ralph,

Certainly does depend on amounts of snow. I'm keeping the FEL handy but, at this point, it doesn't look like we'll be seeing a 3' drop in what's left of this winter. One never knows though.

This afternoon, just as a test, I cleared a path up from where that trail comes out to a stack of wood in a clearing. The snow there has been drifting up and packing down all winter. I didn't measure but, if the top of the drift cutters are some where approaching 3' high, then I was blowing 3' of snow with a little patience and a bit of back-up-and-ease-back-in method. I kept wondering where I would have dumped all that snow if I'd been using the FEL. Besides, I just get a kick out of watching that plume of snow shoot 50' into the woods /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Stephen,

Guilford, that's just about where I take a deep breath and start to relax when travelling back up from "downcountry". I've been known to even stop and use that new fancy rest area (ah...Welcome Center), just to make use of some of my tax $'s /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif.

I'm up in Waterbury Center, looking southwest toward the 1st spine of the Green Mt.'s. I think you've been getting a lot more of the edge of these snowstorms that we have up here.
