Snow Front Blower and RB, Good combo for snow

Finally! At least a little snow (~ 8") to use the blower and blade on. We keep getting the short end of the Nor'easters this year. Normally we'd have had at least one 2' snowfall by now. Strange year for snow....my fault..I bought the blower /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif . Thought some might like some pic's of me having fun (uh, I mean working hard) in the snow. Sorry for the quality..cheap dig. cam. If we get a real snow I'll borrow my daughters camera (she has all the toys...except a tractor /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

From the seat. OK, I'm busted by the safety police...DWPT (driving while picture taking).

The last was heading out toward the road, about halfway down the 600' of drive. Actually, the road for another 400' is mine too but the town plows it as they have not other place to turn around...works for me.

This is out on the road, before clearing the pile the town always leaves at the end of the drive. RB is great for this and keeps me from eating sand and rocks with the blower.

Ready to clear the end of the drive. Notes: (1) Gees, snow is hard to photo w/o a bright sun to throw shadow and give some idea of actual depth. (2) Notice the flashers were actually on when I wasn't in just my own driveway. Hope this gives me back a few points with the safety police /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Took all of about 2 minutes to blade off what the town left around the mailbox and end of my drive.

Coming back up the drive. Should have tilted the deflector up for a better rooster tail /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

One more on the way back up. Yes, that's me under the Carhartts, Mask, JD cap, and goggles. No, a cab is NOT in the budget for quite a while /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Done for the day. This from the Kitchen deck, down the drive. Yes, that is almost all fresh snow on that rail. And, yes, I should cover that woodpile....a project for next fall!

I couldn't resist. Sorry there is no way to gauge size but, "Millie" does not fit in my shirt anymore. 5 mo. old now and about 30 lbs. 1/2 Malamute, 1/2 border collie...rescued by organizations in Ontario and Ogdensburg, N.Y..
