The front axle of my 2310 appears to be leaking a small amount of gear oil from the hub. Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the axle seal. Are any special tools required. I'm a fair mechanic and have a good supply of basic tools. In looking over this site I came across a PDF. file that describes the changing of a seal on a Kubota, is this a similar repair? I access this site regularly and appreciate all of the information. Go red!

You will probably have to change a few seals, and it isn't that hard if you take your time and do it very methodically. You will need a fairly heavy set of snap ring pliers but no special tools. If you would like I could email you a parts breakdown of it. I know when I tackle something I want to see a parts breakdown first. Let me know if I can help.
