Front Axle Rock Force Adjustment B21

Can anyone explain how to adjust the rock force on the front axle of a B21. The shop manual shows the use of a spring scale and specs but not actually how to do it.

Thanks, found that but still doesn't explain the use of the scale. I just tightened it and backed it off an 1/8.

I think when the axle is straight across you hook the scale on the spindle to see how many pounds to move it ..........

I was doing that, just felt like it wasn't doing it.

Never adjusted mine yet I guess tight but not to tight.......:laughing:
