Being aware of the 50 hr grease interval for the axle pivot on the xr3140, I am careful not to over grease this point.

So at 83 hours curiously I lifted the font end up by means of the front end loader. The axle did not budge, so I got off to check it out and it was stiff. It would pivot but I had to physically push and pull on the axle. Not an ounce of free play but stiff to move.

That good of fit I hope!!

That's an interesting discovery.

Better to be stiff and able to pivot than be loose and sloppy. Think about the weight of your tractor.... I bet it pivots without a problem when the tractor is moving!

I found it interesting also. Brand new, my 790 had zero play but moved absolutely free.

Yes, it does pivot just like it should when dips and bumps are encountered.

I'm gunna just grease it as required and hopefully enjoy a LONG life from the pivot😁

Grease the front pivot front and back sections, every time I grease the loaders which is every 10 hours.

Both my Kubota's have a freeplay adjustment on the front pivots.
