front axle break foton ft254a

1st time tractorowner,bought a used foton ft254a 2006,this site has been very usefull,yesterday i snapped a front right axle, dissassembled & now the parts hunt begins any help would be appreciated, thanks rb33

working in wash area,fel loaded to max on slope right wheel higher than left
went to back up & snap not sure if in 4wd at time.
donny at discount is pulling one apart as I type to see if it will match.

due to holidays parts were shipped out monday,they should arrive thurs.
parts ordered from "donnie" at "pecan parts .com" they had eveything & a
full on line parts & operation catalog. I will post how things go this weekend.

alright,parts arrived as scheduled now to install
I did not want to remove the housing assemble so here is how I went at it.

1st had to pull out broken axle,so i drilled & tapped a 1/4''
hole in shaft & used a slide hammer to pull out both shaft& bearing then removed the shaft from bearing in press. now to start.

1.place shaft bolt side down on 4x4 notched out for bolt

2.slide outer cover over shaft with bearing & seals
installed

3.Installed split ring lightly greased over groove in shaft

4.slide gear on carefull to seat split ring

5.place assemble on press & install inner bearing

6.installed 4 studs in to housing on front hub

7.slide shaft assemble on studs & push to seat

8.install bolts, leave studs in & tighten evenly and rotate to mesh gears
