frogs on the pond

hi am a newbie here!...my grandma has a pond on her backyard but there are lots of frogs and tadpoles there...any machine equipment on how to get those frogs on pond?

Am not sure what you are wishing to accomplish, but if you put a half pound to pound bass in the pond, you will be amazed how fast those critters disappear. Then, you will also have a good bass to eat later on. If pond is of sufficient size, add several bass... maybe even a catfish....

Ducks should take care of tadpole smaller frogs problem,but far as machine doing the job yet to hear of one.

I don't see the problem with those tadpoles. They are probably eating mosquito larvae. In turn, I'd not be surprised to see them as food for a passing heron or other bird. Add some fish in there to eat the frogs if the pond is large enough to support them.

The frogs are part of the food chain. They help to maintain that chain, of which you may even be a part. Might you catch and eat a fish from that pond? A pond can provide a valuable watershed, cleansing and storing water as it runs off after a rain. The plants and wildlife in that pond are important for you too.

Or, do you really want a completely sterile pond? If so, then a better choice would be to have a small blue plastic wading pool in its place. Make sure you use lots of chemicals to keep it pure.

I welcome the frogs with open arms, one of my best natural bug getters, along with bats, dragon flys, humming birds and hopefully next year purple martins. Better then any man made spray all natural and best of all free.
