friction in engines and transmissions

has to use a friction motor oil (motorkote) - (slick 50) LIQUI MOLY. It works well; in GEARBOX, differential, hydraulic, brakes. Works with Trans Trans 10w 30. will have some problems; pto, brakes; I want to put them into international harvester 585. Sorry for my English. THANKS

I have a old hd 4x4 6.2 chevy that was leaking oil out of the rear axle seals(140,000),i did not want to deal with it,so i heated up a large tube of moly grease.on a stove and injected it into the differential.A 100,000 miles later it still did not leak, but i wanted to check it out.The oil came out very thick and i think the moly seperated and ended up being a layer of sediment.When i went to install new bearings and seals i compared the new bearings with the old ones with some calipers,and could find no difference.So i put the old american bearings back in.Why take a chance with unproven new bearings made in another country.All my differentials and geared trans have heavier oil then stock.I believe in film strength.

My dad was sold on the benefits of moly additives for gear and engine oil years ago when he had a D4 cat. He could feel the difference in temp. on the deck over the transmission, so the reduction of heat corresponded to a reduction in friction. Years later he bought a boat that had an old outboard that had a bad prop shaft seal and the gearcase was full of water, and the bearings and races were pitted. Replaced the seal and put moly in it and the more we ran it the smoother it got. Do NOT use it in limited slip differentials or motorcycles with wet clutches.

Thank you. the bush does not make be used in wet clutches that are multidisc. So do not do in GEARBOX, brakes, pto. difference. It is only to put it simply gearbox .i will use it only in machine
