I have seen a 72" finish deck for sale that will fit my B7800, but honestly have no idea how to get it from one end of the country to the other. Private transaction.

Does anyone have any ideas how to reduce freight costs? Right now it is high.

This would be a B-T-B transfere. I think it may be possible to use my company's freight contract.

I am out of my league here.

Thanks!

I thought this was a pretty good story even if the applicability is a little bit of a stretch;

I found out the best way is to try and piggyback off your company’s freight contract. On my own I got it down to about $600-which I thought was pretty good. After discussing with one of our logistics guys-and bribing him heavily with pies, peppers, and anything else sitting around the kitchen, he said it was no big deal.

The price went down to $350. That is amazing to ship a 500 pound 72" finish mower from one end of the country to the other.

Learn something every day.

I used a website called Uship.com to oship a BX1500 with MMM from northern Wisconson to Centeral PA. It was over 1000 miles and ran me $300. The guys dfelivered it in an 18' Ryder box truck, and it only took him 2 days to get it too me. Tractor plus mower weighs in at 1400lbs.
