Anyone know where to get a "Freedom Hitch"? I've checked the archives and could not connect to the site that MarkC posted -freedomhitch.com. Thanks.

I tried again and the site worked: www.freedomhitch.com -can't wait to get the "free video". The tractor attachment is $195 and each implement section is $195 plus shipping from the factory. Before I put down the $$$, does anyone know it these hitches might be "discounted" by any resellers?

This should work for you its---http://www.freedomhitch.com/

I've found that some of the address links don't work for the archive but are still good addresses. Gordon

I haven't heard of any reseller discounts. You don't start getting a discount until the 10th unit when you buy direct from the factory. The Freedom Hitch is expensive up front, but every time you use it that feeling of "this was too expensive" will diminish significantly. Soon you will wonder how you ever got along without it.

If the things weren't so heavy, we could start our own co-op and buy them a hundred at a time or something for forum users.

Oh well, as you say, Jack, it's the type of product that every time you use it, the price seems more and more reasonable. If it were only that way with everything I've bought...

JBM, I got the video about 3 months ago. Good video. The only thing that they didn't show was hooking up a brush cutter (or anything else pto driven. It would still be a quick hook up, but you have to do the pto by hand.

My dealer said no way to get a discount. The factory will ship to my Kubota dealer and I pick it up from him. I was told the same price as you.

OK. I'll order it from the factory - but it really irks me to pay MSRP for anything!!

It's a shame we all don't live in the same state because that co-op idea is a darn good one. In the long run everyone would save money and there is nothing better than that.
Wonder if they would total an order for units and then ship them to the various locations. Just a thought
By the way the Freedom is on my want list./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Suppose someone called them and mentioned that a number of well connected folks on the Tractorbynet board are interested in buying them and asked them if they'd offer a Tractorbynet special price for a limited time?

Mark, good idea. I was wondering how many of us would want to buy a Freedom Hitch if we were to get a "Oh what a deal because we're from the Kubota board and it's Saturday deal"? I know I will need 5 pieces (one piece for the 3 point hitch and 4 pieces for the different implements). How about anyone else?

Same goes for me a three point and four ends. Depending on cost. I could get by with three ends. Anyone else in for the deal of the century?

I know we'll get replies from several others. I will call tomorrow and see what kind of deal we can get. Hey, maybe I'll sick the red head on them!

BillC, a fellow not far from me here in VA is considering getting a tractor section and 4 or 5 implement sections, but he's not sure if he wants Cat 1 or 2 - probably Cat 1 and adapters to hold down cost, so throw that into the deal.

Good luck Bill nothing ventured nothing gained. The only bad thing is this is their busy season but I'm rooting for you and the red head. If you and the redhead don't have any luck we could call Mark in for backup. I have a feeling this might just work to our benefit. Gordon

The trick, if there is one, is that they understand the folks are wanting one if there's a discount - no discount, no sale. Besides, if it's for a limited time, it can't hurt them too badly.

By the way, I'm in for another tractor section and 2 implement sections.

Very good point Mark!!!

I'll call today. I plan on talking to the VP of Sales. Everyone else is there to tell me "no", or "we can't do that". My guess is the VP's bounus is tied to the # of sales per year. He/she will probably be much more willing to deal.

Has any one ever looked at the QUICK-HITCH from land pride? Looks like the same kind of hitch, but you don,t have to buy a device to put on each implement. Local dealer said it cost about $350.00. They have a web site landpride.com , never know this mite be a winner??
