Free prescription discount cards

I have seen these things in doctor's offices and elsewhere. Are they any good? It does not seem logical to me that without some kind of financial incentive that anyone could expect them to work.

Yep they work. I’ve been calling around and asking for better pricing for many years. It’s amazing how many prices their are for the same thing.....it’s worse than an auto parts store

GoodRx is a worthwhile site. Last time I needed a prescription I found the best deal there. But when I called the doctor for a written prescription, his staff wanted me to call the pharmacy they had in their system to get a renewal. I explained I was going somewhere else, so they relented.
