A guy I work with said I could have his old '70s international baler and rake if I just hauled off some other old implements with them. The baler has been sitting in the KY weather for years. What should I start with when putting it back into service? He said the knotters weren't working properly. Are knotter parts expensive? Will Case still have parts and manuals? Thanks, Phillip

What model are we talking about? B47? 440? A little more info about it would be good

Knotters might just need a real good cleaning and greasing. There are a few grease zerks that are a p-i-t-a to get a grease gun on to and often times get overlooked on them. Parts and manuals should be available from your local CIH dealer.

I don't even know what model it is yet. I saw it once on a nasty day in the winter. Don't really remember much about it. I can't pick it up until I find a tranny for my truck. Someone said the knotters were made by New Holland. Is that true? Thanks, Phillip
