Here in Fla we try to stay out of the sun as much as possible. I found an easy solution with the remnant of a piece of greenhouse sunshade and some leftover 1/2 inch poly tubing. I cut it with a box cutter to fit the front and sides. I left the back open for less "flapping" in the wind as I always wear long sleeved sun shirts and neck covering sun hats. It is infinitely adjustable with some industrial clips I had. I had to slit the poly leaving about a quarter inch slot to pinch the fabric over the fiberglass canopy and it has stayed put even through branch contact during peach tree pruning. I usually mow late in the day into dusk so the low angled sun is no longer glaring in my face when headed west. I can't imagine anything working better.

The price is right!
Looks like it would provide some protection from this years 'skito crop, too.
