Framing nailer question

I went cheap on one as like you have a project come up and then nothing for a year. The Numax I got is carried by the Home Depot and Amazon as I recall. Works great. Works every time.

Guys, you're scaring the **** out of me ..... I use nailers all of the time and never thought too much about good safety glasses until my neighbor ricocheted a 3 1/2 nail through his eye .....

If the little plastic bit can get into your eye, so can a nail ....

Yes SAFETY GLASSES when ever working!!!.... When I was working in industry (before retirement) safety glasses were required, if you refused to wear them, you were asked to leave job site....

I have a Porter-Cable 29 degree (I think) clipped head nailer but found it will also shoot 30 degree Paslode full headed nails. It might shoot other paper collated nails but haven't tried it.

+1 for the Freeman kit. Only use them a few times per year but they have been good.

I have a cordless pasalode framing nailer. Kind of expensive to run because of the butane cylinders but definitely handy in a location without power.
