Found this while mowing

We haven't even started in clearing the barns, except to make room for the new implements. We have been working outside and now that the crops are in, we have access to the fence lines and the back 15 acres. Even though we have taken three trailer loads of scrap metal, we have also kept a bunch of implements that are restoreable or would make nice yard type displays. If you look on the back of the MF383, that is a disc we found, in the brush, that with swapping out a couple of the broken disc we have back up and are using it as we clear areas. Once the weather turns on us, we will start focusing on the items inside and sorting and figuring out what is there. The biggest issue we have is time. My nephew was able to get the old farm truck running, a 1977 Ford. As you can see by the pictures we have been able to get two of the MF tractors running, but we still have a third one that we need to get running. Just more stuff to do than time, but it is enjoyable and a nice distraction from the daily work stress.

Winter is best time to clear in the woods, you can see so much better.
My 95yo dad just sold the last of his cows. Fortunately he already scrapped some old stuff he had pushed in the woods.
But still has stuff outside that will get grown up around. This rake was used this spring. When I saw your picture I thought this will end up like that. The dead tree just fell.

95 and he just quit farming! Good for him. I expect to be pushing up geraniums long before I get to see that age.

We did more cleaning and here are some implements we found in the back pasture (15 acres on the back side of the farm). The hay rack, we found buried along the fence line, which it took both tractors to get it out.

Both my grandparents suffered from dementia in the later years. My grandma started 'strategically' placing things before we got her moved in with my parents. Now we are having the fun adventure of re-discovering the lost equipment.

Depending on the condition the GEHL 770 Mower/conditioner may be worth something.

Yes, my grandfathers farm is a mess. My cousin owns it and has let everything run down. Makes my dad sick.
