Found this on my driveway

Anyone know where this belongs, I have a L2800HST

Check your brake pedals..bet one of them has no return spring, could be the clutch, too cannot remember, but crawl under there and have a look,, come to think of it there is a return spring for the differential lock.. see which thing has no return pressure, and go from there, if you cannot figure it out. go to Messicks web site, and download the proper part manual section, they will e-mail it to you right away.

On my BX there is a spring like that under the hood, helps to raise it I believe.

If you go by your dealer you may want to ask the service department. Since they take them apart they may know where all the springs are.

Thanks KOUA, it was the clutch return spring. The two on the brakes are the same as the one on the clutch.
